“Baixu” means beautiful in the Pataxó Indigenous language, and that’s exactly the feeling this unique concert venue in Brussels evokes. A cultural and community-based space open to all kinds of events, Baixu charms with its spirit and décor.
This original venue is housed in a repurposed 180 m² industrial space. Located beneath the circus school in the trendy Tour & Taxis district, it now features a stage, bar area, and a fully equipped room for private, professional, or community events. From birthday parties to circus shows, corporate meetings to cocktail receptions, concerts to exhibitions — all event formats are welcome here!
The venue is easily accessible by metro, bus, or car, with a nearby parking offering reduced rates. In terms of capacity, Baixu accommodates up to 120 people standing or 80 seated.
The space is wheelchair accessible and offers technical support to help organize your event. Available equipment includes lighting, sound system, and projection tools. Bar service is optional and available for an additional fee. You may bring your own caterer and beverages (a corkage fee applies).
