Authentic and welcoming, this café restaurant charms guests with its warm décor inspired by the famous battle. It offers two spaces: Le Bivouac de l’Empereur, a friendly bar area with 90 seated places or 120 guests in cocktail setup, and the Wellington Room. Featuring a fireplace and large bay windows, this room is ideal for private or corporate meals for up to 80 guests (160 standing).
During sunny days, the terrace offers stunning views of the famous Lion’s Mound and the green surroundings of the estate. It is the perfect place for an aperitif or an outdoor meal. Guests can also take the opportunity to visit the memorial or freely explore the 20 hectares of the Waterloo Battlefield Estate.
The restaurant can be privatized in the morning, for example for a business breakfast followed by a meeting. It can also be fully privatized in the evening until 1 a.m. The estate offers two parking areas and the café restaurant is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
