Privatise the Moulin-Brasserie, the restaurant of the Abbey of Floreffe, for your private or professional events. Share a warm moment in an exceptional historical site and taste the products made in the abbey: beer, cheese...
The former mill-brewery of the Abbey of Floreffe is an emblematic building in the province of Namur. Dating back to the 13th century, it is considered to be the oldest industrial building in the region. The Moulin-Brasserie, transformed into a restaurant, is the unavoidable meeting point for all visitors of the abbey.
The restaurant of the Abbey of Floreffe consists of a vast 178 m² room with an authentic charm, decorated with beams and large convivial tables. Enjoy the abbey's traditional products: beer, cheeses, semi-gray bread, and traditional dishes made with local ingredients. A large tree-lined terrace awaits you on sunny days and an easily accessible parking lot is at your disposal. Open all year round, the Moulin-Brasserie is the starting point for visits to the abbey.
Take a break on a day trip in the province of Namur: the restaurant can be privatised on request for groups of 5 to 80 people. For a wedding reception, a baptism, a communion, a company meal or a birthday, you dispose of the main room of the establishment, as well as the kitchen if you wish, with the caterer of your choice or the team of the Mill-Brewery. The restaurant of the Abbey of Floreffe takes care of the bar, the beverages and the brewing part, with its delicious handcrafted and local beers.
The adjacent large 120 m² room can also be rented. The Abbey of Floreffe offers about ten rooms with a historical character for your company events or family reunions. You can request the Moulin-Brasserie's catering service regardless of the space you reserve in the Abbey of Floreffe.
Contact the Moulin-Brasserie team to organise your event in a prestigious setting, a few kilometres south of Namur, within the walls of a 12th century abbey.
