Le Château

In the heart of the Province of Liège, in Sprimont, the Château de Florzé is a not-to-be-missed venue, with its perfectly restored outbuildings and elegant grounds featuring a tennis court, a playground for children and a large private car park, making it an ideal venue for your private and corporate events.

Built in the 13th century and modified over the years, Château de Florzé has been a family property for over a century.

At the front of the estate, the château and its park provide a superb setting for a wedding or corporate event. Its five adjoining salons can accommodate 150 guests at table or 400 guests at a reception. Upstairs, 14 double bedrooms and two 6-bed dormitories offer on-site accommodation.

The outbuildings are arranged around a central courtyard. On two levels, the Fenil (the former hayloft) can accommodate your private or business meetings. On the ground floor, there is a maximum capacity of 220 people seated, and up to 550 for a cocktail party or dance evening. Upstairs, a magnificent room with its original wooden framework is perfect for a seminar, conference, wedding or business meal for around 140 guests. The room is equipped with a screen and projector.

The Ecurie (the former stable) on the ground floor lends itself perfectly to an exhibition of paintings, for example. The charming room on the first floor is ideal for a business meeting, a meal for up to 140 people at table or a reception for 250.

The Grange (the former barn) is an authentic, long space that is flush with the main courtyard and can accommodate 300 people upright and around 140 seated. Please note, however, that the Grange is not heated and cannot be hired in all seasons.

On site you have the possibility to appeal to your own caterer, however the owners can recommend quality service providers. The brewer is compulsory, but only for softs and beers. The DJ is free, but the specific sound and lighting equipment must be hired from a professional partner in the region. DJs may only bring their own mixing desk or computer.
