Le Baixu

Baixu is located in the Tour & Taxis district, just below the circus school. A nearby car park offers discounted rates, and the venue is easily accessible by public transport.

This unique space takes its name from the word "baixu," which means "beautiful" in the language of Brazil's Pataxó people. Housed in a former industrial site, the 150 m² venue can accommodate 80 seated or 120 standing guests. Its programming focuses on culture — Brazilian and beyond — as well as on exchange, discovery, and conviviality.

Baixu hosts all types of private or professional events: workshops, meetings, training sessions, concerts, exhibitions, fairs, birthdays, baptisms, or family celebrations. The venue is wheelchair accessible and comes with full equipment to support your event. Technical assistance and bar service are available upon request. You are free to choose your caterer or bring your own drinks, subject to a corkage fee.
